Scandium is a kind of soft transition metal with silver white appearance. The element symbol is Sc. The atomic number is 21. The melting point is 1541 °C, the boiling point is 2830 °C, and the density is 2.985 g/cm3. Scandium is often mixed with gadolinium and erbium, and its yield is very small.
